Working Cattle

>>> Nevertheless most of our clients will never work cows or steers, this part of training (and showing) is an important stage in creating top notch reliable horses.

The overall pressure they have to deal with in working with cattle, creates a more self confident frame of mind. With a rider on its back, the horse teams up to take the most superior -leading- function in the field of action.

The attitude of 'steering' the situation instead of running away is the basic fundament of a cool horse. A cool horse, together with the rider, is supposed to manage complex and sometimes scary situations and working cows and steers is a great way to establish this ability in the horse.

Working catlle requires collection, body control, speed control, finetuned movements and at least a minmum of cow sense.
